These Are The 5 Terrible Things You Should Avoid When Using The Internet

Long ago, comparing the internet to what it is now, you will find out absolutely that a lot of things have changed; there has been a lot of improvement in technology, and that alone has made our lives easier.
Hardly before you find someone who isn't on any social media.
Despite these advancements, there are thing you mustn't do online, must of us are guilty yhis things and its very important we stop doing them.
Below are five (5) things i have outlined in which you should stop doing on the internet:
Avoid Synchronizing All Your Social Media Accounts Online
Synchronizing Facebook, Instagram, twitter, in such a way that when you make an update on Facebook it automatically sends it to other social network isn't right at all.
It sounds great in theory, but it is awful in real life. What you need to understand is that every social network is different. What works on Facebook, doesn't work on Twitter, Linkedin or Instagram.
Using One Or Weak Passwords
I agree that not many people can remember all of their passwords. So they find one good, strong password that they use for absolutely everything.
It is absolutely wrong to use the same password for your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, email etc. You need to have more than one password. In fact, you need at least three to five different passwords that you use for different internet accounts.
Also for weak passwords, o you know that a lot of us use easy to guess password? How can you use 123456 as your password or 7654321… This can make any dummy easily guess your password and hack into your account. Even using your date of birth as password is not correct.
A good password should comprises of Letters, numbers symbols etc. e.g M4_09!… Let your password be strong enough that no demon on earth will be able to guess it.
Being Careless With Your Login Details
Being careless with your login details is totally bad, it is called login details because it is exclusive to you, it belongs to you and nobody else, not even your wife or your boyfriend should have access to your login details. That way, your information's are secured when it is exclusively known to you alone.
Another way of being careless with your login details is storing your login details on public computers or personal computers; Some of us still make use of the Café and even store our login details on the used browser which is absolutely not right.
Even storing your login details on your own personal computer is not right because somehow, someday someone might have access to it.
Revealing Your Email Address Or Phone Number In A Comment Box Or Anywhere Online
I have stopped this long ago and ensure that every email that has ever been published on this blog was deleted. Never leave your email address on any blog post, Facebook or any platform that exposes it to the public, it is not safe, also in revealing your phone number online, a lot of people are guilty of this, post their phone numbers on Facebook, so that anyone can just check on you, PM you or WhatsApp you. Be smart about it and be wise about it.
Avoid Links In Email
Criminals love clickable links in emails. They absolutely love them. Yes, they are a good idea in theory. But sometimes, theory and real life do not work in the same way.
Clicking on a link in your email might take you to a website with malicious software, if possible do not download any attachment you don't know anything in your email, they can use it to hack into your account.
In conclusion, its important you keep your privacy private online, before the public will make your privacy public.

Are you being tracked on the internet? Know how to find out

Are you being tracked on the internet? Know how to find out
Yes, you are being tracked on internet and several entities are keeping dossier on you.
It is so common that you must have found that out yourself. Googledoes it all the time and so do your social media sites. While this kind of tracking is for commercial purposes such as showing you ads that you would be interested in, you can also be tracked by cybercriminals which can result in harm or serious breach of privacy.
Google knows your every move on the web:Google knows a lot about you.
Why? What does Google gain by tracking the activities of its users? Quite simply, Google earns money by doing so.
A large part of Google"s revenue is based on advertisements and the impressions they gain through users. So, the Google way of advertising is quite simply showing you advertisements that are tailored to your needs.
So, your Google searches, voice searches, location changes, all are tracked and stored by Google so that the advertisements can be as tailored and accurate as they can be. But Google is not the only big corporate that does targeted advertising.
Targeted advertising is the easiest way for a user to know that his movements in the web world are being tracked, but companies still do it because that is how integral the cyberspace has become to human life.

Best Call Tariff Plans in Nigeria 2017
Presently, there are just 4 major network providers in Nigeria – Airtel , Etisalat , MTN, and
Glo – so with this article, I am looking to outline the most interesting, no, scratch that, the cheapest Tariff plans each network provider has to offer.
Here we go:
Quick Navigation
Airtel Tariff Plan
Etisalat Tariff Plan
GLO Tariff Plan
MTN Tariff Plan
Best Airtel Tariff Plans
Okay, so I wasted a lot of time browsing through this particular Network provider's available tariff plans. Guess what I was seeing?
Smart this, smart that, smart everything.
Initially, they all looked the same to me, but then, I dug deeper, like really deep – beneath the surface – and trust me, I found an interesting plan. 😀
The best calling tariff I found on Airtel can give just about anyone calling superpowers (literally!) but unfortunately, it's not for everyone.
With that plan, ₦100 translates to 20 minutes talk time to all networks in Nigeria, yes all of 'em!
That plan is Airtel SmartCONNECT but the painful thing is:
SmartCONNECT is only available to new Airtel subscribers. I.e. Buy a new Airtel SIM, and bam! You're a phone booth!
What about the best plan for someone who already has an Airtel SIM?
*sighs*
It's not as sweet as the deal I talked about above, but it's not bad either.
With Airtel SmartTRYBE, you and I could be on the same "calling level".
I say that because, with my current tariff, I can talk for as long as 30 minutes with just ₦200 (I use MTN, want my number ? *grins* ).
Airtel SmartTRYBE can empower you to do just that as well. But that's not all, no, not at all.
Some other juicy benefits come along with being a TRYBE member. One of such includes getting 1.5GB for just ₦200. You can read more about Airtel SmartTRYBE in my article on all the Airtel Tariff Plans in the country right now.

Best Etisalat (9Mobile) Tariff Plans
These guys are the minimalist of the pack.
No much options to choose from. It's either you're on this, or you are on that. There's no fence to sit on.
No, wait.
There is a fence.
That fence is Etisalat's EasyLife Complete.
Gee, that was a really stupid analogy up there. – Very meaningless!
But EasyLife isn't. No, not at all!
In fact, it's the most meaningful plan Etisalat has to offer.
On this tariff plan, ₦200 guarantees you 22 minutes, 13 seconds talk time to all local networks.
However, there's a little caveat.
If you're on Easylife, you pay a ₦5 daily access fee.
What if you don't make calls on a particular day?
Well, you can keep your ₦5 as the daily access fee is only charged on your first call of the day.

Best GLO Tariff Plans
You know Globacom is the king of cheap data (and slow connection) right?
Yes, they are. They are the only ones selling 3.2GB for a thousand naira (they conveniently screwed this up) – more on this here , but that same "cheapness" doesn't hold true for their calling plans (sadly).
Much like Airtel above, they possess an almost impossible to believe tariff plan for new subscribers and "subscribees" (Autocorrect please allow me to use that word).
When you purchase a new GLO SIM and register it, you are automatically on the new GLO Jollific8 and this plan features amazing benefits that allow you…… Jollific8.
The official story is, you get 800% bonus on ever recharge which means for a ₦100 recharge, you'd get back ₦800 for calls (plus free data to gift).
Even with the outrageous "price per minute" of this plan (₦40.2 per minute), you'd still end up talking for up to 20 minutes with just a hundred naira.
Trust me, with this, you're definitely Mike Adenuga. *shines teeth*
The thing, however, is, this plan is for new GLO SIMS only!
Read more about this here: Glo Tariff Plans in Nigeria
If you be old cargo, you'd have to make do with GLO Bounce.
On GLO Bounce, 22 minutes of talking over the phone would cost you approximately ₦200.
Yeah, I know, it's so not fair, but, this is the best GLO call tariff plan out there. Go and Check.
To "bounce to the up side of life", dial *170*4#
Best MTN Tariff Plans
Me and MTN we are 5 and 6.
I've been on MTN since like Forever!
Unlike Airtel and GLO above, MTN has no tariff plan to lure in new subscribers, at least, none that I know of.
This means that both folks who have been on the network since Obasanjo and those who joined the bandwagon since Buhari are on the same level.
MTN has nice tariff plans , they do, but the sweetest deal has to go to MTN Pulse.
If you are part of the movement (the Pulse), making calls would cost you as low as ₦6.6/minute. No daily charges, no rental fees. But:
Your first 50 seconds of the day would be charged at 20k/s.
Now, don't get confused or worked up. Even with your first few seconds charged at ₦12/min, you can still bag approximately 15 minutes with just ₦100.
Besides the attractive calling rate, on Pulse, you get to enjoy 500MB for just ₦25 to browse at night and while the others are paying ₦500 for 750MB, you're getting 1024MB for that same ₦500.
To join MTN Pulse, Dial *406#
Conclusion
So, these are the cheapest calling tariff plans in the country at the moment. With most of these plans, you get to talk for as long as you want without breaking the bank.
Did I miss a plan?
Please tell me using the comment box.
I didn't?
